I recently spearheaded a charity event on May 26th to support Free the Children. The event raised money to buy a village in Sierra Leone, Africa and collected non parishable food items for a women's shelter in downtown Toronto. I contacted and organized all the sponsorship of the evening, which included a chocolate fountain and fruit, cattering, Sony/BMG, Warner music, 300 1 inch pins and other donations and many other prizes for giveaways.
iYellow Wine Club donated Niagara wine (Hillebrand Estates : Riesling and Gamay Noir) as a complimentary tasting to the first 100 people who came to our event. Paxton and I served Riesling and Gamay and told everyone about our amazing club and wine tours. I have recently become a dot com visit me at www.iyellowwineclub.com.
This event had people from Much Music, MTV, Chum TV, CBC, film and TV producers and much more. A team of 4 women all worked with E11even Productions and Theresa Laurico and a whole team of amazing women to put together an amazing event.
I would like to thank Theresa, Amrit, Kenia and Christyn for their hard work and determination. We all built new friends, supported good causes and threw a killer party.
